Rohit is a qualified accountant and joined Delancey in 2005. He is a member of the Delancey Governance Board, whilst also performing the role of Chair of Delancey’s Conflict and Risk Committee’s respectively.
Rohit has responsibility for all governance, operational risk and compliance matters across the Delancey Group. This includes assessing governance and regulatory arrangements when establishing new client/fund structures for group advisory entities, reviewing how Delancey conducts its business for clients, including establishing robust internal controls and operational client-led processes, and ensuring that all legislative, regulatory and compliance obligations are properly safeguarded, including those specific to advisory client matters.
Further, Rohit also exercises high-level oversight on client operating platform’s (portfolio companies) on their governance, risk and compliance infrastructure and key legislative matters impacting their business operations.
Prior to joining Delancey, Rohit was Head of Risk Management & Internal Audit at Hercules Group plc, the AIM-listed property services group, which was eventually acquired by Erinaceous Group plc.
