Katie joined Delancey in 2010 and has over 23 years Asset Management and Property Advisory experience, specialising in asset stabilisation, cost reduction, asset enhancement, streamlining portfolios, disposals, investment management and unlocking potential value in investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Delancey, Katie worked for DTZ (now Cushman & Wakefield) working across Asset Management, Investment Agency and Corporate Real Estate Consulting teams.  Katie’s experience covered all sectors, with clients including large multinationals, global REITs and public sector organisations such as the NHS and local authorities.

Katie has now spent 15 years at Delancey as part of the Asset Management team. Some examples of her key projects are:

  • The Blade portfolio – the intensive asset management of a range of UK shopping centres, leisure assets and offices to develop strategies to maximise returns upon disposal.
  • Redevelopment of London’s Elephant & Castle Shopping Centre – relocation of existing tenants and preparing the asset for development along with client, consultant, and stake holder management.
  • Working with leading UK house builders and managing JV partnerships, securing a number of residential planning applications through to disposal.
  • Property Advisory and Investment Management for Get Living (the UK’s pioneering institutional build to rent platform).
  • Currently leading the Educational portfolio in an Asset and Investment Management capacity. The portfolio incorporates a successful private college business with over 1000 students, 650 boarding rooms and state of the art educational facilities; in addition to separate prime London assets occupied by prestigious educational users.

Katie graduated from Northumbria University with an honours degree in Estate Management and qualified as a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) shortly thereafter.  Katie recently also completed the University of Oxford’s Strategic Innovation programme whilst investigating trends in the property sector for implementation to add value across Delancey’s clients’ estates.
