The freehold of Royal Mint Court, a unique 5.4-acre site steeped in history, located on the eastern side of the City of London, opposite the Tower of London and St Katharine Docks, was acquired from the Crown Estate in June 2010

  • Set within a vibrant commercial and residential district, Royal Mint Court has a significant history as the former main site of the Royal Mint. Surrounded by excellent public transport links by the tube and DLR, adjacent to the new cycle ‘Super highway’.
     
  • In April 2015 a joint venture was finalised with the headleaseholder, LRC to merge interests. Delancey was also appointed by the joint venture to serve as asset manager for the redevelopment.
     
  • In February 2017, the development obtained planning permission for a redevelopment of the estate into a high specification, technology enabled, contemporary flexible workspace, designed for today’s business community providing a extensive, traffic-free open areas, giving businesses and people room to breathe in a crowded city.

Royal Mint Court was sold in May 2018 to the People’s Republic of China for their new Embassy in London.
