Real estate investment firm Delancey has appointed Cindy Rose, who joined in October.

Rose will join an expanded Responsible Investment team to support investment strategies in line with client objectives. She will also take the lead on client reporting and work directly with investors and other stakeholders.

Rose brings a wealth of experience in designing and implementing responsible investment and ESG strategies across global multi-asset management organisations, complementing the existing team.

She joins from global insurance firm Gallagher, where she led Sustainable Investing Stewardship. She has also held senior responsible investment roles at leading financial services companies including Liontrust Asset Management and Aberdeen Standard.

Rose is the latest in a series of recent high-profile appointments at Delancey, including Lesley Davison (Managing Director, Capital Markets) and Emma Murray (Director, Capital Strategies), reflecting business growth.

Dan Berger, Chief Investment Officer at Delancey, said: “Backed by multiple clients across equity and debt this year, we now have more than £1 billion of investable capital, and Delancey is growing and investing in the expertise our clients expect. Cindy joins a strong Responsible Investment team, and her experience will help us build further on what they have achieved as investor expectations evolve.”

Cindy Rose, Responsible Investment Director at Delancey, added: “It’s great to join an established team and an organisation that truly understands how ESG factors influence long-term value and investment outcomes. My priority is to deliver for our clients, making sure they understand our responsible investment approach and can clearly see its impact on their investments.”
